Young People’s Fellowship
The Young People’s Fellowship (YPF) of Barnoldswick Gospel Mission is a group which:-
- is open to anyone of Secondary School or 6th Form College age (academic years 7 to 13).
- is for young people who want to meet with other young people who are interested in exploring what Christianity has to say and its relevance to their lives in the real world.
- has a varied programme of discussion topics, Bible Studies, prayer times, games and social evenings.
We meet every Sunday night after the Evening Praise service, usually at the home of Chris and Rachel Waddington at 18 Bank Street Barnoldswick (Telephone: 01282 816006).
The meetings start at around 7.30 pm and finish with supper refreshments at 9.00 pm – transport is available from the church building following Evening Praise and to home after YPF if required.
Whilst one of the aims of the group is to enable young people to experience the benefit of Christian fellowship with people of their own age, another aim is to encourage participation in the wider church fellowship. We therefore encourage members of the group to attend at least one of the services that have been held that day. However we are always prepared to take into account any special reasons why this can’t be done, either as a general rule or on any particular occasion.
