Y Friday Club

Barnoldswick Gospel Mission has had an active ministry among young people of secondary school age for many years. Times change, needs change, the young people change, staff change and the name and number of groups change.

At the time that this website began life in 2000, the group meeting on a Friday was called YFC (Y Friday Club). For more details of current youth activities, see the Church Introduction page. This page and its links are preserved since they still present a helpful flavour of activities that take place from time to time.

Who? Anyone at Secondary School

Where? Barnoldswick Gospel Mission

When? Friday nights in term time. 7:00-8:30pm years 7, 8 and 9. 8:00-9:30 year 10 and above.

What? A normal evening consists of games, other activities such as drama, tuck and a short talk or discussion relating to the Bible. We also arrange a variety of other activities, such as 10 Pin Bowling and a range of outdoor pursuits including night hikes and canoeing.
