Pastor's Message
Barnoldswick Gospel Mission has been in
existence for seventy-three years. Since its
beginning, meeting over the present
“Occasion” gift shop, its central aim has
been to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. That
is why “Gospel” is in our name. We seek
to be a lively worshipping community reaching out to
our town in Jesus’ Name. In our services we
seek to understand God’s unchanging word but
apply it to the modern world. We want to be true to
God’s word and contemporary in the way we do
things so that we can reach modern people who need
God’s mercy as people always have.
The Church is affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches and is a member of the Evangelical Alliance.
If you are already a Christian or interested to know more you can find a spiritual home at the Mission among Christian people who seek to care for one another. Our Pastor Dr Paul Standley is always happy to visit. Contact us.

Beliefs
We are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, creator of heaven and earth. He was born of the virgin Mary. He was tempted yet without sin. He bore our sins in his body on the cross, that we might be reconciled to God. He was crucified, died and was buried. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and will come again in glory.
Meetings and Location
Family Church takes place on Sunday morning at Barnoldswick Civic Hall, commencing at 10:30am and including Sunday School and Crèche. Evening Praise takes place on Sunday evening in our own building, commencing at 6:00pm.
